DIY Trip One - Castle and Nature (Purbeck).

Visit the Jurassic Coast, SW Coastal path, Corfe Castle & village, Swanage Railway... There are generally two buses per hour from Bournemouth Station taking about 60 mins to Swanage. The top deck of the buses are usually open in the summer, so you can feel the wind in your hair. Connecting buses go from Swanage & Poole to Corfe Castle.

DIY Trip Two - Ponies and Forests (New Forest).

There are generally two trains per hour to Brockenhurst taking approximately 30 mins. Cycle hire is available at Brockenhurst railway station.

DIY Trip Three - Salisbury and Stonehenge.

There are regular buses to Salisbury (70 minutes) where a connecting bus can take you to Stonehenge. It's a long day, but worth it!

DIY Trip Four - Weymouth and Portland.

There are generally two trains per hour to Weymouth taking approximately 60 minutes. Connecting buses are available to Portland.

DIY Trip Five - Coastal Spectacular and lost village (Lulworth/Tyneham)

The eastern parts of the World Heritage Listed Jurassic Coast can be accessed by regular buses to Swanage which pass over the Sandbanks Ferry. Areas further west like Durdle Dor and Lulworth Cove and be reached by car or with Discover Dorset.

Trip Six - The Giant (Cerne Abbas).

Drive to Cerne Abbas (just over 60 minutes) and climb up to see the giant - an ancient fertility symbol.

DIY Trip Seven - Lymington and Isle of Wight.

There are regular trains to Lymington Town or Lymington Pier via Brockenhurst. Trains at Lymington Pier connect with ferry services to the to Isle of Wight.
