Things you need to know about making a reservation:

- We take bookings up to 4 weeks (28 days) in advance.

- You must hold a valid non U.K. passport and be aged 18 and over (no children) to stay at the backpackers.

- We cannot take large groups (maximum four people, maximum two males per group).

Things you need to know about the backpackers hostel:

- There is no curfew; but (for the comfort of other guests) after 23:00 we do expect people to be quiet inside the building.

- Check out time is 10:00 (although luggage may be left in the house free of charge until 18:30).

- In accordance with our fire and security regulations:
every guest must arrive and check-in during reception hours and show their official foreign photo ID.

Booking terms and conditions:

Unfortunately due to the actions of a small number of people, any booking that we take is subject to the following conditions.

• If a deposit does not arrive by the time agreed, the booking is cancelled.
  
• Bookings taken without a deposit must be reconfirmed the day before arrival, or you may lose the beds. Rooms/beds will only be held for 30 minutes after reception opens.
  
• If any changes are made to the initial booking (e.g. the number/type of guests, the number of nights, or the arrival date/time) we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
  
• Bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours before arrival without penalty. If you cancel any part of the booking within 24 hours of arrival you will lose that part of your deposit. If you have not paid a deposit and do not give us 24 hours notice of cancellation ("no show"), you will not be able to stay at the backpackers at any time in the future.
  
• You will be expected to pay for all the nights you have booked on arrival. If you arrive and want to stay for fewer nights than you have booked and/or arrive with fewer people, you will still be expected to pay for the number of bed nights that were booked. If you are unwilling to do this, we may refuse to check you in and you may lose your deposit.
  
• If you mislead us regarding the nature of your party (for example, your group are not all foreign visitors, you arrive with people under 18 years old, or you book for a group of females and a group of males arrive), we will refuse to check you in. If you have paid a deposit, you may lose it.
  
• Check-in is never possible on Saturdays. Check-in after reception has closed is only possible at our discretion and after the payment of a late check-in fee of GBP 15 per hour. Consequently any member of the group that fails to arrive during reception hours, who has paid a deposit, may lose it.
  
• If you make a booking and any member of your party is unable to show our staff official photo ID at check-in, that person will not be allowed to stay. If they have paid a deposit, they may lose it.
  
• If you arrive exhibiting anti-social behaviour and/or are clearly under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol, you will not be allowed to stay. If you have paid a deposit, you may lose it.
